For an international airport project, we are currently looking for a BIM Manager (m/​f/​d) to join our team in Tirana, Albania.

Profile:

  • Develop and implement the BIM execution plan (BEP)
  • Set standards and protocols for BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 19650
  • Manage model coordination meetings, facilitating communication between design, engineering, and construction teams
  • Ensure model integration, clash detection, and resolution across all disciplines
  • Establish and oversee quality control processes for model accuracy, data consistency, and standards adherence
  • Perform regular audits on models to ensure project-specific BIM requirements
  • Lead training sessions for project teams on BIM tools and workflows, enhancing team skills and knowledge
  • Serve as a point of contact for BIM-related inquiries
  • Generate regular reports on BIM performance, clashes detected/​resolved, and model integrity
  • Track BIM milestones and provide metrics to stakeholders on the model’s progress

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Professional degree in architecture
  • BIM certification (like Autodesk Certified BIM Manager) is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years in BIM roles, with experience in large-scale projects across different phases (design, construction, handover)
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software like Autodesk Revit, Rhinoceros, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with additional tools like Dynamo, Solibri, or BIM 360
  • Knowledge of coding/​scripting languages like Python or Visual Basic can be a plus
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards, LOD (Level of Development), and other relevant BIM and digital construction standards
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and embrace emerging BIM technologies

For this full-time position (40 h/​week), a salary applies according to collective agreement.
