Creating a new landmark and dynamic icon for Bengaluru
The Bengaluru Sky Tower is visible from afar and envisioned as a memorable landmark for the 21st century city. The iconographic structure offers unique functional, spatial, and visual conditions in a groundbreaking architectural form, which ensures that it becomes one of the most celebrated landmarks in Bengaluru. It bridges the urban landscape and the natural world, and origins a place where technology, art, and nature merge, to celebrate the city’s past, present, and future.
A groundbreaking architectural marvel where wisdom of nature merges with cutting-edge design
Inspired by the intricate algorithms governing the natural growth of the majestic Banyan tree’s sprawling branches, this towering structure seamlessly merges the wisdom of nature with cutting-edge design. At the top of the structure, a stunning floral sculpture symbolizes like a flower in bloom the lively spirit of the city.
This unique blend reflects Bengaluru‘s dynamism, resilience, and reverence for nature. It is the embodiment of all achievements of the past and creates a strong statement for a dynamic future.
Immersing in nature’s embrace
As visitors climb this gentle incline, they embark on a journey reminiscent of the growth of the banyan tree, gradually rising above the bustle of the city. One gets surrounded with the sensation of being immersed in nature’s embrace.
Experiencing the sky
Different attractions are housed in the plinth of the structure. In the entrance area, visitors stroll through a light-flooded passage with shops and small restaurants. A sky deck lobby leads to the elevators that connect the top floors of the Bengaluru Sky Tower. The most exciting attraction besides the viewing platforms, some of which are equipped with glass floors, is the cantilevered roller coaster.
Communicating with a dynamic light system
The new landmark is not only establishing itself as a new attraction for the residents and visitors of Bengaluru, but also designed as a communication element. The dynamic light system creates the effect of a living architecture and reflects and visualizes what is currently happening in the city or in the world.
